What are my Laybuy options?

We know how expensive kids can be. Plyhome welcomes payment by Laybuy and have two options for you. Both use your credit card, and your payments are created online:

Pay by Laybuy (simply click the button at checkout) to get your furniture within our normal 10 days for production + delivery, but spread your payments over six interest-free weeks. All of Laybuy's terms and conditions are very transparent and available on their website. For product returns, our own policies apply.
Pay by Partial.ly (just click the button at check out). This option has longer terms available, but we don't make the furniture until your laybuy is paid off in full.

The following information apply to partial.ly payments only. Pay by Laybuy terms and conditions are found on their website.

Depending on your product selection, for purchases over $400 we're happy to offer the convenience of 2, 3 and 6 month terms via partial.ly. Laybuys are payable either fortnighly or monthly.

We will comply with the Fair Trading Amendment Act 2013 which came into force on 17 June 2014.

Available Laybuy terms with partial.ly are:

Junior bed: 2 or 3 month laybuy
Toddler bed: 2 or 3 month laybuy

How do I pay by Laybuy with Partial.ly?

Shop as normal, then choose 'pay by partial.ly' button at the cart.

This takes you to our Plyhome page on partial.ly. Here you'll do a very quick registration, then select the payment term and frequency that you'd prefer. You can instantly see payment amounts due on different terms and frequencies before you decide.

What are our Laybuy terms?

Our Laybuy terms are outlined in our Terms and Conditions, which you must read and accept prior to purchasing.

A 20% deposit is required to secure your Laybuy and that you must create an account on our website. You can access your Laybuy agreement with us and payment information (method of payment, date payments are due and their amounts) from here and also by logging into partial.ly.

We will start crafting your item once payment is received in full.

To confirm your Laybuy you must:

Create an account with us on Plyhome.co.nz. This is free.
Read and accept the terms and conditions (required as part of our online purchasing process).
Pay your 20% deposit and select your payment frequency and duration (term) via Partial.ly

Can the Partial.ly Laybuy be cancelled?

Both parties have the right to cancel the laybuy. Different rules apply depending on whether it is the buyer or the seller that is cancelling.

Cancellation by buyer: You may cancel the Laybuy Sale Agreement at any time before taking possession of the goods. To do this, you need to let us know in writing that you want to cancel the Laybuy Sales Agreement. A Laybuy cancellation charge of $60 applies and will be deducted from any money received prior to refunding any balance owed. You will receive a refund of any funds paid, less the cancellation charge. This $60 charge covers the associated administration & storage costs and a re-stocking fee. You cannot cancel the Laybuy Agreement after taking possession of the goods. To cancel your Laybuy, you need to email us at accounts@plyhome.co.nz
Cancellation by Seller: If payments are not made on time as agreed, we reserve the right to cancel the laybuy agreement. We will try to contact you prior to cancelling. A $60 Cancellation Charge will apply to cover administration costs, storage costs fees incurred. If for any reason, beyond our control, the goods are no longer available and no satisfactory substitute can be reasonably obtained, the laybuy will be cancelled with no cancellation charge and all monies paid will be immediately refunded.

Can the terms of the Laybuy be changed?

There are to be no changes to the items purchased once the deposit is paid. No individual items will be removed or added to the Laybuy agreement. Once the deposit is paid, the price for the goods is agreed upon and will not be changed. We will not pass on any price increases or reductions that may occur due to the nature of price rises or future discount sales or offers. You are welcome to pay the total due earlier than the expiry of the Laybuy (if you prefer).

You can request a written statement of the Laybuy account at any time by emailing us. Your payments information is available immediately via ‘My Account’ and also on partial.ly.
